Found some time to shoot in between planning orientation camp and waiting tables. Styling and shooting for this blog are still one of my favourite things to do this holiday and what a luxury it is having the time to do such things I love (among other things like baking and shopping). Also, I may be transitioning into an all white phase as I realise that nearly all of my new clothes are the colour of the clouds. Very excited with all the new pieces for S/S 2014!!
Now, you might wonder on what silly occasion would I squeeze my pear-shaped body into a bodycon midi skirt?
The answer is: When there are cats on them!!
I typically don't wear midi skirts because I don't think they are very flattering for my body type but how could I pass off this bright and boldly printed midi pencil skirt with cats and flowers (yeah, just 2 of my my favourite things) Personally, I think mid length pencil skirts can make an outfit very elegant if done the right way. Maybe if you look pass the fact that you may have to waddle like a penguin. Anyway, happy Sunday, I hope you have a great week!

If you know me well enough, you will definitely know I am a sucker for anything lace, even if the fear of the lace tearing haunts me every time. It is a constant fear that bothers me, however I will take the risk for a handful of pieces. This beautiful romper from The Editor's Market happens to be one of them!! Fiona shot these photos after a trip to Revolution Coffee, down at Media Circle, which I recommend you try, a place with all day brunch will always have a place in my heart :-)
Also, I find it very worrying how our grass is being turned brown and crispy by the perpetual heat. I noticed this when we were looking for a place to shoot and this was the spot with the most green and "lively" (for lack of a better word) plants in sight. I really hope we get some rain soon!
Well, today we are getting a little more personal. I wanted to blog about my first trip to Gardens By The Bay because I felt that little Instagram squares simply would not do the flowers justice. This is basically going to be a visual board of floral vomit.
I know it has been said by Oscar Wilde that "a flower blossoms for its own joy" but I really do gain a moment of joy from looking at it (and so does my grandma)
